Churn.
Why aren't people ask about churn during interviews?
There are so many things to ask about during interview processes, I get it.
Here's the thing.
Accepting an offer to work for a new product without digging into churn is dangerous.
Not knowing what to ask is a terrible excuse.
6 questions to ask about churn in your next interview:
1. What has churn looked like over the past year?
2. What are the main churn reasons and what do customers say?
3. What are red flags from customers that are early signs of churn?
4. What’s the company doing to get ahead of churn and reduce it?
5. How have you partnered with customers to provide concessions during renewal?
6. How does Product, Support, Marketing, Sales, Success work together on churn?
If the person doesn't know the answer, find someone that does.
Even better: look at review sites G2, Trustradius, Capterra, etc. and come prepared with Qs.
